A Walk Through Our Production Lines: From Raw Steel to Finished Goods

A Walk Through Our Production Lines

From raw steel coil to finished dumbbell, the journey through our factory is a story of precision, heat, and human skill. Here is how we make what we make.

Line 1: Dumbbell Casting and Finishing

Ductile iron arrives as 50kg ingots. Our induction furnaces melt it at 1,500°C, and the molten iron is poured into sand molds at a rate of 200 sets per hour. After cooling, the castings are shot-blasted to remove surface sand, then inspected for porosity. Each head is drilled and threaded on a CNC lathe to accept the handle bar.

Line 2: Bumper Plate Production

We start with virgin natural rubber and a steel core insert. The rubber is calendered into sheets, layered around the core, and vulcanized at 180°C under 200 tons of hydraulic pressure. The result? Zero-odor plates that bounce true — even after 10,000 drops.

Line 3: Rubber Coating and Dip Molding

Kettlebells and select dumbbells get a rubber coating. Our automated dip line submerges each piece in liquid rubber, then cures it in a gas-fired oven. The process creates a seamless, non-slip grip that will not peel or flake.

Line 4: Assembly and Hardware

This is where it all comes together. Spring clips, collars, and fasteners are installed by hand — because machines cannot feel the right torque. Every threaded component gets a drop of thread-locking compound for safety.

Line 5: Packing and Palletizing

Each product is wrapped in EPE foam, packed into a printed carton, and palletized for container loading. Our packing team can fill a 40-foot container in under 4 hours. Every pallet is strapped and photo-documented before sealing.
