The Hands Behind the Steel: Meet Our Craftspeople

Behind every dumbbell, every plate, every kettlebell is a person who takes pride in their work. At Lingxi Sports, our 300+ factory workers are not operators — they are craftspeople.

Chen Wei — Master Molder, 18 Years

Chen Wei has been making molds since he was 19. He can look at a casting and tell you within 2°C what the pour temperature was. “The mold is the soul of the product,” he says. “If the mold is wrong, nothing else matters.” His hands are permanently calloused, the price of a lifetime of precision.

Li Na — QC Inspector, 12 Years

Li Na runs the tensile testing lab. She has rejected steel from five different mills this year alone. “Some people think I am too strict,” she laughs. “But when a customer in Germany lifts a 50kg plate, they trust it will not break. That trust starts here.”

Zhang Feng — CNC Programmer, 15 Years

Zhang Feng writes the G-code that drives our machining centers. He taught himself programming from a library book in 2009. Today, his programs reduce cycle time by 12% while holding tolerances of ±0.05mm. He also trains every new CNC operator personally.

Wang Jie — Assembly Lead, 20 Years

Wang Jie can assemble a competition kettlebell in 47 seconds — blindfolded. He leads a team of 25 assemblers and runs a monthly “perfect assembly” competition. The winner gets a cash bonus and their photo on the shop floor wall of fame.

Why It Matters

When you buy from Lingxi Sports, you are not just buying metal and rubber. You are buying Chen Wei’s eye for a perfect mold, Li Na’s refusal to pass a flawed batch, Zhang Feng’s optimized toolpaths, and Wang Jie’s 47-second assembly. You are buying decades of skill, bottled into every product.
